Manchester United striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic has been banned for 3 games following an incident with Bournemouth's Tyrone Mings during Saturday's 1-1 draw at Old Trafford.

The former PSG striker will now miss United’s Monday's FA Cup quarter-final at Chelsea and Premier League games against Middlesbrough and West Brom.

Mings was also charged by the English FA for violent conduct.

23-year-old Mings, landed on Ibrahimovic's head with his studs before the 35-year-old caught his rival in the face with his elbow at a corner.

They both have until 18:00 GMT on Tuesday to respond, but Bournemouth has said they will appeal.
