Zidane Pleads For Calm Amid Real Slump
Real Madrid defeated Barcelona 5- 1 in the Spanish Super Cup last month and fans thought they have started a campaign that will see them win the Spanish La Liga.
But after five matches, manager Zinedine Zidane and his men find themselves 8th place on the table, and seven points behind leaders Barcelona.
Real Madrid lost 1-0 to Betis at the Santiago Bernabeu on Wednesday. That result came after two disappointing home draws against Valencia and Levante.

Zidane is aware of an impending pressure if things continue this way, but has called for calm.
"We have dropped seven points in a small number of games but there is a long way to go and we can't throw everything we have done until now in the bin because of two or three average games," insisted Zidane.
"I know that many people don't like this work when things go wrong, but we have to accept it and be calm. The league is very long and we will stay calm within the group because we will lift ourselves and we know we will have better days."
Real Madrid travel to take on Alaves on Saturday and victory will bridge the gap before the Barca play Girona.
