Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie is serious about being the next governor of Anambra state.

Yul, who is a son of legendary actor, Pete Edochie, recently declared his intention to run for governor of Anambra state in the November 18th 2017 election.

To prove his seriousness, he has released a video in which he spoke in English and Igbo, appealing to Nigerians to vote for him as he is the change they need.

He is yet to delcare the political party he will contesting under.

The 35 year old was raised both in Lagos and Enugu, and is the last of 6 children.

Youl, who got married at the age of 22, attended the University of Port Harcourt, where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Dramatic Arts.

Meanwhile as Anambra state residents and the electoral commission are gearing up for elections, Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People Of Biafra(IPOB) has declared that elections will not hold in Anambra state.

Nnamdi Kanu is insisting that the only kind of voting that will hold in the South East is for a referendum, which will decide the creation of the nation of Biafra.
