A young millionaire who specialises in the kidnapping of elderly persons aged 80 and above has been arrested. 

Patrick Bori, 34, was arrested on Thursday by the Imo State Police Command’s Anti-Kidnapping Squad.

Bori's arrest follows the abduction of three elderly persons;  Reginald Nkwocha, 84, Adolphus Akagha, 94, and Dorathy Nkwo, 82.

Bori operated with one Uchenna Emerenjo also from the same state.

Fielding questions after being paraded by the police, Bori confessed that he had realised over N50m from the illicit business.

On why he preferred elderly persons, Bori said, “They don’t have the strength to run away from my den. As you keep them there, so they stay till a ransom is paid. .

''I don’t have a fixed ransom. The ransom I collect depends on the worth of the victim. We don’t keep them long for fear of them giving up the ghost.”
