It is no longer news that Tennis Champion Serena Williams can no longer wear her skin-tight black catsuit at French Open.

French Tennis Federation president, Bernard Giudicelli said they needed to introduce a dress code to regulate players’ uniform.

“I think that sometimes we’ve gone too far... It will no longer be accepted. One must respect the game and the place,” Giudicelli said, singling out Serena’s outfit at the 2018 Roland Garros.

Nike designed the beautiful outfit and we were eager to see how they react to the ban. They did not disappoint.

The sportswear brand took to Instagram to support Williams, sharing a photo of her wearing the catsuit and nailed it with the caption:

“You can take the superhero out of her costume, but you can never take away her superpowers. #justdoit”
