Nigerian born American rapper, Wale is proud of his African roots and is prepared to share his rich cultural heritage with the rest of the world.

His soon to be launched 14-track album features Nigeria's international exports - Wizkid, Davido and Olamide.

The fifth studio album is titled  "Shine" will be released in May. It also contains features from Nigerian- Grenadian rapper Phil Ade, Lil Wayne, Gucci Mane, Dua Lipa, G-Eazy, J Balvin, Travis Scott, and Chris Brown.

Interesting his label boss, Rick Ross doesn't make a feature on the album.

Wale revealed the album cover was designed by Dedrick Strong aka artist VHS (who Wale described as being one of his “talented fans“).

"Shine" follows his 2015 "The Album About Nothing" released under Maybach Music Group and Atlantic Records.
