Congratulatory messages are coming in tonnes from the Tennis world to Garbine Muguruza after her straight sets win over Venus Williams 7-5, 6-0 in Saturday's Women Singles' final.

The Spaniard player won her second Grand Slam title after 2016 Roland Garros, playing brilliant tennis throughout whole tournament and losing only a set, against Angelique Kerber in her fourth round match on Monday.

Rafael Nadal, who at Wimbledon has won two titles (in 2008 and 2010) and lost three finals (2006, 2007, 2011), wrote:

'Many congratulations Wimbledon Champion Garbine Muguruza!!! Great success for the Spaniard tennis.

 Dominika Cibulkova, who played doubles with Muguruza last month, wrote on Instagram: 'I could not be more happy for you girl.'
