United States of America is preventing Nigerians from entering their country. And we are talking of people with valid visas.

For now, nobody knows why.

This is why the Nigerian government is asking any Nigerian who plans to travel to America to shelve it for now to avoid wasting time and resources.

Abike Dabiri-Erewa, Senior Special Assistant to the President on Foreign Affairs and Diaspora, in a statement, on Monday said people should, "consider rescheduling their trip until there is clarity on the new immigration policy".

Getting into America has become a tug of war after the new US president, Donald announced new immigration policy that now makes it very hard for people to enter the country.

You may recall that just two weeks ago, a Nigerian software engineer, Celestine Omin was detained upon arriving at US airports and asked to write some software codes before he could be let into the country, even though he had his complete travel documents.
