Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose is not only a pain in the neck of the Buhari-led government, he has allegedly become one in the neck of his party members.

The National Executive Committee meeting of his party (PDP) has expressed worry over the way he is conducting the affairs of the party in Ekiti.

This follows a motion raised by Senator Abiodun Olujimi at the National Executive Committee meeting in Abuja.

Olujimi claims the governor has been unfair to those that do not belong to his camp.

The spokesperson for the party, Prince Dayo Adeyeye, confirmed the development while briefing journalists after the over six-hour meeting.

Olujimi, Adeyeye and some members of the party in the state had complained Fayose decision to impose his deputy, Prof. Olusola Eleka, as the party’s governorship candidate ahead of 2018.

The governor was also said to have unilaterally set age limit for the candidates of the party in the forthcoming local government election.
