Super Eagles defender Leon Balogun has arrived Nigeria ahead of Saturday’s World Cup qualifier against Zambia.

Balogun will later on Monday hit Uyo as the Super Eagles camp officially opens.

Media officer of the team Toyin Ibitoye told Bounce News on Monday that players are to arrive in Uyo on Monday, while training begins on Tuesday.

Balogun, whose defensive combination with William Troost-Ekong has been rock solid, posted on Twitter of his arrival.

“First things first ????? soooo good to be home,” he wrote with a photo of meal.

Nigeria hosts Zambia on Saturday at the Godswill Akpabio stadium in Uyo.

A win for the 2013 Africa champions will see them through to the Russia 2018 World Cup.
