Niniola's career-defining Afro-house banger, "Maradona" was re-worked by Grammy-nominated French producer, DJ Snake.

Now, his version, which has already introduced a whole new audience to the song, just got a dance video.

The original track, which finds Niniola singing about falling in love with a player (hence the Diego Maradona reference), was a huge hit because of Niniola's unique delivery and Sarz's production.

On DJ Snake's rework, titled "Maradona Riddim", he doesn’t alter much of its winning formula, as he simply ends each verse with his signature synth add-ons.

As for the Daniel Kaufman-directed music video, which is entirely in portrait mode, none of the ‘star players’ of the song feature on the video.

Instead, the viewer follows a young man too shy to join a dance party, only to end up stealing the show in a very interesting way.
