Fela Kuti is loved and revered all over the world, but singer and rapper Wyclef Jean, takes his love to a whole new level.

Off his forthcoming album Carnival III: The Fall and Rise of a Refugee, the Haitian music legend drops a video for his Ode to the late Nigerian Afrobeat legend, political and human rights activist.

From the lyrics of the song it is obvious that the only connection that the track has to Fela Kuti is the title.

It does not even have anything to do with social and human rights activism which Fela lived for.

In fact the only time Fela is mentioned in the song is when Wyclef sings "Dance like Fela Kuti”.

The video, then continues on that distant trajectory as it borrows its theme from the popular 1988 Hollywood movie 'Coming to America'.
