Marvel's 'Luke Cage' is set for a second season.

The new season premieres on Netflix on June 22nd, and the trailer shows that Luke Cage (Mike Colter) is no longer operating in the shadows.

He is a hero that walks on the streets of Harlem.

He attracts the notice of a new villain called The Bushmaster, who seems to be just as indestructible as Luke.

According to the press release, Luke will need to "confront the fine line that separates a hero from a villain.''

The trailer also shows that Claire Temple (Rosario Dawson), acts as a conscience for Luke in this season, while Misty Knight (Simone Missick) rocks her technologically advanced  prosthetic arm that she is famous for in the comics, while Mariah (Alfre Woodard) is clearly up to no good once again.

Luke Cage is an action-packed drama that follows the evolution of title character, Luke Cage, a man with super strength and unbreakable skin caused by a sabotaged experiment. After a failed relationship with fellow superhero Jessica Jones, Cage tries to rebuild a quiet life in Harlem, New York until he is pulled out of the shadows and forced into a battle for his city.

The premiere episode of the second season is directed by Lucy Liu.
