President Muhammadu Buhari is on his way back to Nigeria after the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC) meeting held for 2 days in Beijing. 

A video of his departure was shared by his Personal Assistant on New Media, Bashir Ahmad. 

He was accompanied to the airport by some Chinese government officials and Nigerian delegations, with his wife also there. 

The President's jet took off from the Beijing Capital International Airport for Abuja in the early hours of Friday. 

While in China, President Buhari and other delegates that attended FOCAC secured some deals in information technology, transportation, pipeline projects, agriculture, manufacturing and in other sectors.

At a FOCAC Round Table meeting on Tuesday, President Buhari told the gathering that several infrastructure projects valued at over $5 billion have been executed in Nigeria in the last three years of the current administration. 

On Wednesday, after FOCAC ended the Nigerian President held talks with Chinese President, Xi Jinping, where both governments looked at China's engagements in Nigeria and the possibility of increasing agricultural imports from Nigeria.

After talks, the Nigerian leader expressed hopes that further agreements reached at the meeting would have direct impact on Nigeria's economy.
