The mad man, who allegedly hacked two people to death in Tekunle village in Ondo, is believed to be sane and healthy.

But unfortunately, he had committed the horrible crime before his true state of mental health could be ascertained.

An unauthorized police source who confided in Bounce News said the suspect has been behaving sane since he got to their custody.

"Although, there is already an arrangement to take him to the psychiatric hospital for necessary and documented investigation to confirm he is mentally balance but as am talking to you right now, nobody will believe he is not normal.

"When he was arrested and brought to our station, we tried to handle him like a lunatic, but we realized he was behaving and talking like a normal person, then we decided to engage him in conversation and his response was unbelievable.

"Investigation is still ongoing but I can assure you, that guy is not a madman and it is obvious that he purposely committed the crime for a reason that will soon be made public after our investigation." The source disclosed.

The suspect popularly known as 'At All, At All' had reportedly hacked a 75 years old farmer, Olusegun Oyalade and a police sergeant, Abiodun Omotehinse to death in the village.

Four other people were said to have been macheted, leaving them with various degrees of injury.

The incident had reportedly thrown the entire village into confusion as villagers had to flee to avoid further bloodshed.

The state command Public relation officer, Femi Joseph said the suspect flee from the village the moment he committed the offence.

"It took the team of ondo state commissioner of police, Gbenga Adeyanju, local hunters and vigilante group about 18 hours before he could be fished out from his hideout."

It was gathered that the suspect who resides in Sabo area of Ondo town, had attacked the farmer in front of his house while drying his cocoa beans.

He was said to have later descended on the sergeant who tried to rescue the old man.
