This terrible accident occurred on Sunday in front of a filling station, few metres away from the popular Mayfair roundabout in the ancient town of Ile-Ife, Osun state.

The 18-seater commercial bus collided with an oil tanker that was making a U-turn.
The bus, which was said to be coming from Ondo state, reportedly burst into fire immediately.
Eyewitnesses blamed the disaster on lack of quick response to the fire that burnt most of the passengers beyond recognition.
At least 10 persons including women and children were burnt to death in the ghastly road accident.
Only two passengers were said to have been rescued and taken alive to a nearby private hospital.
Some of the witnesses also confirmed that the driver of the tanker fled the scene immediately the accident happened.
