News of the health condition of Yoruba comic actor, Baba Suwe who is supposedly battling with diabetes amongst other ailments went viral this week.

There have since been several calls for help from his colleagues and thousands of fans.

Help is beginning to come and Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo has led the donation of large sums expected in support of the veteran actor born Babatunde Omidina.

Osinbajo donated the sum of one million naira and also sent the Youth Organising Secretary, APC Lagos, Aregbe Idris to visit Baba Suwe and tell him about the support.

While making the donation on behalf of the vice president, he offered prayers of quick recovery and further urged well-meaning Nigerians to lend their support to the actor.

Aregbe was accompanied by popular Nollywood actress, Remi Surutu and Nkechi Blessing, who ensured that the meeting was filled with happy emotions throughout.

“God is to us a God of deliverance, and death has no power over your life. I am positive that his healing hands will restore your health and cast out every form of infirmity in your body,” Osinbajo added.

Baba Suwe was full of gratitude to the Vice President and also seized the opportunity to pray for his party's success in the presidential election.
