Vogue Recognises The Style Of Tiwa Savage And Burna Boy
Vogue, arguably the world's most influential fashion magazine, looked all over the world to find 100 people that inspire them, and 3 Nigerians made the list.
At least other musicians outside of Davido and Wizkid, are being recognized by one of the biggest fashion magazines in the world.
Titled “These Are the People Who Are Inspiring Us Right Now,” the Vogue World 100 list comprises of creatives from all around the globe, from musicians to actors, choreographers and chefs.
The list is generally made up of eccentric, 'vibey' and engaging people.
For Nigerians it is delightful to see Tiwa Savage, Burna Boy and Falana on the list.
Singer, Falana talked about her hair and how she decided to embrace her natural hair after her wig came off during a workout class.
“It was so embarrassing,” she said adding, “but I am grateful because that was the moment I decided to stop trying to fit in and embrace my natural hair”
Burna Boy, who just released his album “Outside” discussed his love for fashion, and how he created his own trends.
“I was always the one who didn’t really want to follow that. I wanted to start it. I just always went off. I just always came up with my own little twist,” he said.
Meanwhile Vogue recognized Tiwa Savage for having an Instagram page that will “feed your fashion creativity."
