The police found two bodies, identified as that of Zainab Nielsen, 37 and her 3 years old toddler, Petral Nielsen in the kitchen.
A doctor and his team confirmed that they had died with visible marks of violence on their bodies.
The death is alleged to have some stains of domestic violence.
Zainab Nielsen, who went by the stage name Alizee was an upcoming musician who lived in the luxurious Banana Island with her Danish husband, Peter Nielsen.
They had been married for 5 years, before the unfortunate incident, and the Nigerian police have released a report of what they know so far.
On the 5th day of April, 2018, at about 11am, the Nigerian Police received a complaint from the Facility Manager of Bellavista Tower, Banana Island, Kunle Kukoyi, about possible on going domestic violence.
13 year-old Miss Gift Madaki reported that she had heard her sister crying as she was being attacked by her husband, 53 year old, Peter.
When the Police and a medical team reached the house, Zainab Nelson and her 3 years old baby, Petral were found in the kitchen.
The corpses were photographed and evacuated to Lagos Island General Hospital for autopsy, and Peter Nielsen was arrested.
According to Toyin Abimbola, a clinical Psychologist who spoke to Bounce News, "Abusers need to feel that they have absolute control of their partner, maybe because of low self-esteem, inferiority complex or their inability to control strong emotions like anger.
"Abusers might have grown up in a household where domestic violence is acceptable, or could be depressed or suffer from a psychological disorder, that no one has noticed".
