VIDEO: Super Eagles Star Resumes Training After Horrific Injury
Super Eagles forward, Henry Onyekuru is moving fast on his road to recovery from a horrorific injury he suffered in December 2017.
Onyekuru is gladly nearing a full comeback from his knee injury as he has resumed light training as suggested in a video he posted on Wednesday.
I am so grateful to be able to be back running and back with the ball at my feet. Its been a journey, Thank you all for your prayers and support! The Lord is truely my strength! ???? pic.twitter.com/TrV1EWAL59— Henry Onyekuru (@henryconyekuru) March 21, 2018
The young Nigerian striker netted 10 goals in 28 appearances for Anderlecht before sustaining a serious knee injury in December.
But it appears that the attacker has moved closer to a return to action before the end of the campaign.
Onyekuru is currently spending time at Everton's training ground, with the Toffees medical staff assessing the striker ahead of potentially representing Anderlecht in the coming weeks.
It is yet to be seen if Onyekuru could hit top form fast enough to see him force his way into the Nigeria squad for the Russia 2018 World Cup.
