According to information monitored on the Twitter handle of the LASTMA, the fallen tanker covers about 10 per cent of the road.
Emergency responders were on ground to control traffic build-up from Conoil U-turn.
Two lanes currently moving fine beside the fallen tanker, as motorists make desperate bid to escape, driving against the traffic.
It would be recalled that the Otedola Bridge fire accident occurred on the Otedola Bridge at the Lagos end of the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway where a tanker lorry fully loaded with petroleum product fell, leaked and exploded on 27 June 2018.
The massive fire broke out after the explosion of a petroleum filled tanker lorry leading to the transfer of flames to other vehicles approaching the lorry on the busy road.
