General Overseer of the Living Faith Church Worldwide, aka Winners’ Chapel, Bishop David Oyedepo has stated that it is an insult to say he is worth only $150m.

He said this in a sermon to congregants during a church service.

“They said ok I’m worth $150m.”

“I said $150m? That’s an insult. I’m worth Philippians 4:19”, the Cleric said as he read out the Bible verse.

“My God will supply my riches according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus”.

Forbes recently announced Oyedepo as the richest pastor in the world. Oyedepo, according to Forbes, tops the list of the richest pastors in Africa.

Oyedepo is an author, architect and preacher, and his Faith Tabernacle, a 50,000-seat church auditorium, is reported to be one the largest church auditoriums in the world by the Guinness Book of Records.

The Winners’ Chapel network of churches is located in over 300 cities, in all states of Nigeria, as well as, in several cities in 45 African nations including Dubai, the United Kingdom and the United States.

Oyedepo is also the Chancellor of Covenant University and Landmark University.
