VIDEO: Buhari Leaves For UK
President Muhammadu Buhari has left Nigeria's capital city, Abuja, for the United Kingdom.
The Presidency said he was on official visit.
He left on Monday after he announced his intention to run for a second term in office.
It was like giving Nigerians something to talk about, as the President announced the much awaited declaration, while also preparing to leave.
He is embarking on the journey at a time that the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) is embroiled in internal wrangling over the leadership of the party.

President Buhari had earlier attended the APC's National Executive Committee Meeting before he left Nigeria.
It was at the meeting that he announced his intention to run for re-election in 2019.
