Manchester United are willing to make a British record £176m bid for former Tottenham Hotspur winger, Gareth Bale.

This is according to Spanish publication OK Diario.

The same article stated that the Welsh international isn’t quite sure about his future and is yet to make a decision after former coach Zinedine Zidane resigned as manager.

This follows their Champions League success in May.

The 29-year-old has a contract that will see him at the Santiago Bernabeu until 2022 and it is sure that the Champions League holders extract maximum value from any club that comes for the 2013 PFA player of the year.

Bale has helped the Spanish giant win four Champions League titles, La Liga and Copa del Rey during his spell in Madrid.
