Ultima Studios (Ultima) is back!

After ending MTN sponsored Who Wants To Be A Millionaire and Project Fame, the lights have finally being turned on for two new shows.

They will be bringing the business reality television show, Lions’ Den, after signing  an agreement with UK-based Sony Pictures Television (SPT) to produce the Nigerian version.

The show known as Dragons’ Den in the United Kingdom has been long running and is currently in its 15th season.

The basic format of the show is that entrepreneurs pitch bold new ideas and inventions to five millionaire investors.

The entrepreneurs must convince one or more of the investors to invest a specific amount of their money or they fail.

They will need to prove themselves with hard facts and figures and answer the investors probing questions.

If the investors are impressed by a pitch, they negotiate aggressively to own the biggest possible share in the venture in exchange for cash.

The other show that Ultima Studios will soon be launching is the popular reality show, Family Feud.

In this one, two teams, each comprised of five family members, try to match the answers given to survey questions asked to groups of people (typically 100 people in the group).

The family that wins must be the first to reach a certain point total.

The winning family then advances to the bonus round, called Fast Money, for a chance to win money by answering more survey questions.

According to a source, who spoke to Bounce News, even though they have the rights for the two shows, they were still looking for sponsors.

It was after MTN pulled out that Ultima Studios ended - Who Wants To Be A Millionaire and Project Fame.
