UCL Round Of 16 Draw: All You Need To Know
The draw for the Champions League last 16 stage will take place on Monday December 17, 2018 at the headquarters of UEFA.
In the round of 16 draw, 8 group winners are seeded, and the 8 group runners-up are unseeded.
The seeded teams are then drawn against the unseeded teams, with the seeded teams hosting the second leg.
Only one Nigerian will be playing in the Round of 16 in the person of Chidozie Awaziem who plies his trade with FC Porto who interestingly are among the seeded teams.
Awaziem's team can be drawn alongside the likes of Manchester United, Liverpool or even Atletico Madrid who are all unseeded for the Round of 16 draws.
The English Premier League have the most teams in the knockout phase, four.
Germany have three teams in the Round of 16 same as Spain.
Italy and France have two teams each while Portugal, Netherlands have a team each.

The Champions League will resume with the first leg of the round of 16 ties scheduled to take place on February 12-20 and the return games being played between March 5-13.
