After barely scraping past AFC Bournemouth on Saturday, many fear stuttering Manchester United could be in for some bashing in Turin in their Match Day 4 UEFA Champions League tie against Juventus.

Jose Mourinho’s men slumped to a disappointing 1-0 defeat to Juventus in the reverse fixture at Old Trafford last month.

The result has left them sitting five points adrift of the Serie A champions in Group H. So, the Red Devils need a win to stand any chance of finishing top.

However, United also have to look over their shoulders as Valencia are just two points behind in third and can jump in to second with a win over Young Boys in the 5.55pm kick-off.

Man Utd could find their hopes of qualifying for the knockout stages hanging in the balance if they lose on Wednesday.

As for Juventus, they know that they will secure safe passage to the next phase if they avoid defeat tonight while a win would wrap-up top spot with two games remaining.

United will have to make do without Romelu Lukaku as the striker has not travelled to Italy due to a muscle issue that kept him out of the Bournemouth game and may rule him out of the Manchester Derby.

Right-back Diogo Dalot is also missing but Antonio Valencia is back in the squad after recovering from a knock while Marouane Fellaini is available again having overcome a groin injury.

Juventus will hand a late fitness tests to Douglas Costa after he picked up a knock at the weekend while Mario Mandzukic is also a doubt with a muscle problem.
