The goals are coming thick and fast for Harry Kane and the English striker is understandably happy with that development.

Kane who started his campaign in the Champions League with a double against Borussia Dortmund on Wednesday night said it was quite pleasing to start on such a winning note.

He said:"It's a very proud night for me, a very pleasing night for me personally and for the team as well. You've got to produce the best against the best and Borussia Dortmund are one of the best teams in Europe.

"So I've just got to keep doing what I'm doing and keep my head down. I fancy myself in any game I play.

"I've just got to keep working hard for the team and hopefully the goals will come."

Kane's quality as far as the Premier League is concerned is not in doubt, having scored over 20 goals for three seasons in a row.

The Tottenham striker is now ready to show that he is beyond a local champion and prove he is world class even in Europe.
