The UEFA Champions League final between defending champions Real Madrid and English Premier League giants, Liverpool has been handed a referee.

The match will be played on May 26 at the Olimpiyskiy Stadium in Kiev.

UEFA appointed Serbian referee, Milorad Mazic, who has been an international referee since 2009 will man the match.

The 45-year-old was in charge of last year’s FIFA Confederations Cup final between Chile and Germany, and also officiated at the 2016 UEFA Super Cup.

He has officiated four Champions League matches and two in the Europa League this season.

Meanwhile, Dutch referee, Bjorn Kuipers, will handle the Europa League final between Marseille and Atletico Madrid in Lyon on May 16.
