Trump Lands In China For Talks On North Korea, Others
US President Donald Trump on Wednesday arrived in Beijing, China for a state visit that will majorly focus on the North Korean nuclear crisis.
Air Force One touched down at the capital's international airport, with Chinese President Xi Jinping having prepared an extravagant "state visit-plus" for Trump, who is on the third leg of an Asian tour that has taken him to Japan and South Korea.
Speaking in South Korea, Trump called on the North to “come to the table” and discuss giving up its nuclear weapon.
The American president "hoped to God" he did not have to use the US military against Pyongyang.
There have been heated exchange of jibes between Trump and Pyongyang, and the US is trying to get North Korea’s neighbours on its side 100 percent.
Trump is also expected to discuss trade with President Xi Jinping as both countries seek to strengthen ties.
