Trapped Passengers Rescued From Mangoro Train Accident
The first cheering news from the train accident that occurred in Lagos on Thursday morning was that there were no casualties.
But there had been worries for the families and friends of passengers who were trapped when the train reportedly fell along Agege rail linking Ile-Zik in Ikeja.
The bigger news reaching Bounce News now is that all trapped passengers who had been crying for help have been rescued.
Pulled out with varying degrees of injuries, the passengers have been taken to the hospital for immediate care.
The train carrying passengers from Lagos border with Ogun State to the Island derailed at Mangoro area of Ikeja, Lagos.
The train, which eyewitnesses said was full to capacity with some passengers on the roof, veered off the track and fell.
The accident was caused by a bad spot on the track which had been neglected for long.
