Transfer News: Swedish Club Signs Ex-Super Eagles Striker Again
Nigeria International Chinedu Obasi is finding it difficult to secure deals at other European clubs, that nonetheless, he remains a trusted figure at Swedish outfit, AIK and they have signed him for a third time as the striker makes a fresh attempt to revive his career.
AIK reached an agreement with Obasi over a deal that will run for the whole of the 2019 season.
”It is always a pleasure to be back in AIK because, as I said before, it is home and I’m looking forward to performing in front of our amazing fans and I can’t wait to meet the team and everyone”, Obasi stated.
Obasi previously had stints with NPFL club side Enugu Rangers, Lyn Oslo, TSG 1899 Hoffenheim, Schalke 04, Shenzhen, Bolton Wanderers and IF Elfsborg.
He has represented Nigeria at all levels – U17, U20, U23 and full international.
