Super Eagles midfielder, Anderson Esiti could be the Nigerian player to wear the colours of Ligue 1 giants, Paris Saint-Germain if latest transfer reports are anything to go by.

Godwin Okpara and Austin Okocha are top on the list of Nigerians to play for the Parisians and Esiti is now being paraded as a summer transfer target for the big-spending club.

Blogvisaodemercado.pt reports that PSG's new sporting director Antero Henrique has penciled down the Nigerian international as part of his reinforcement plans for the Parisians' midfield.

With Thiago Motta turning 35 in August and Grzegorz Krychowiak's below par performance last season, the French club need a defensive midfielder and the arrival Esiti could prove very vital.

It is been reported that Henrique has already opened talks with the representative of Esiti, Paul Onamomo.

Though Esiti also claims he is aware of the said interest from PSG, he has chosen to keep sealed lips as he maintains that he still has a running contract with Belgian club, KAA Gent.

It is expected that Gent will demand as much as  20 million euros (N8 billion) if they are to part with the services of the all-action packed defensive midfielder.
