Super Eagles defender, Elderson Echiejile is the latest to head to Turkey.

On Friday, he signed a one year contract with Turkish club, Sivasspor.

He completes the move from French Ligue 1 champions, AS Monaco, who have confirmed the transfer, but details of the deal are yet to be made public.

It is understood that the left-back has undergone a successful medical after he flew into Turkey to finalise a permanent transfer.

The 29-year old, who featured sparingly for Monaco last season, was shipped out on loan first to Standard Liege of Belgium and later to Sporting Gijon in Spain.

Sivasspor are back in the Super Lig after a season in the lower division and they will be banking on the experience of Echiejile to at least stay afloat in the top division.
