TRAMADOL! Nigerians Blame Police For Death Of Kidnap Suspect
Some Nigerians have accused the Nigerian police of incompetence and negligence.
This comes after a suspected kidnapper died after 9 days in custody.
The police said the suspected kidnapper was arrested at the scene of a botched kidnap operation in Owo, Ondo state, on August 5.
He was reportedly asleep due to Tramadol overdose when he was taken into custody.
He remained in custody "asleep" for days until he died on the 9th day of his arrest.
Nigerians believe the police did not cover themselves in glory with the handling of the matter.
Some say there is no proof he was a kidnapper and might actually have been framed.
