English Premier League club Tottenham is trying to raise money to fortify the team ahead of the 2018/2019 campaign.

This is why the club is considering selling four of its first team players to raise £170 million to buy new players.

Top on the list of those who could be on their way out is Kenya international, Victor Wanyama. Others are Mousa Dembele, Danny Rose and Toby Alderweireld.

Rose, Alderweireld and Wanyama are all valued in the £50 million bracket each, while Dembele, who has one year left on contract, can go for around £20 million plus.

Though the players have been key to Maurico Pochettino's plans, Tottenham are willing to sacrifice them to help rejuvenate the squad for next season when they move to their new ground.

Wanyama, who was signed by manager Mauricio Pochettino from his former club Southampton in 2016, is already attracting interest for a summer move.

Tottenham is aiming to seal a Champions League slot by making top four in the EPL, and they are preparing for an improved campaign in the UCL next season.
