It has been quite some start to the season for Lucas Torreira, and now he's been named Arsenal’s November Player of the Month!

The Uruguayan midfielder has been in dazzling form ever since joining the club, adding energy and bite to the base of the Gunners’ midfield.

He started November in fine style, impressing with a man-of-the-match performance as Arsenal drew 1-1 with Liverpool before coming close to scoring in the draw with Wolves.

The 22-year-old then struck the post and claimed another man-of-the-match award as they won 2-1 away at Bournemouth.

Lucas received 70 per cent of the votes cast, with Bernd Leno and Rob Holding finishing in second and third place respectively.

The youngster is already on his way to winning again in December after producing match-winning displays in all games so far for the North London giants.

Lucas Torreira has rapidly made himself a firm fans' favourite since his arrival in the summer - and his popularity is now sky high after scoring twice in the past three games.
