All eyes were on the Nigeria League top scorer Junior Lokossa on Wednesday, October 24th in Asaba as Kano Pillars and Enugu Rangers battled in the 2018 Aiteo Cup final.

While Lokosa fired blanks in that crunch clash, he was further dejected that his team blew away a three-goal lead and allowed Rangers to beat them to the top prize on offer at the Stephen Keshi stadium on Wednesday.

After the game, Lokosa sat at the bench of his team. He looked up, shook his head and screamed with a voice of anguish of losing a game many football stakeholders and fans at the Stephen Keshi Asaba, Delta state had thought was theirs for the taking.

Wednesday’s game passes as one of the greatest comebacks ever witnessed in the history of the Nigerian F.A Cup when the flying antelopes, as they are fondly called by their passionate fans in the South East of Nigeria, clawed their way back into the game from three goals down with 15 minutes remaining.
