Toni Payne Backs 9ice In Falz’s Controversy
Falz’ condemnation of the use of music to celebrate cybercrime has been a hot topic.
Most music fans believe that Falz was taking shots at 9ice over his song titled ‘Living Things’
Reacting also is poet and filmmaker Toni Payne, who is also 9ice's estranged wife.
In the series of tweets, she said everyone is responsible for their actions and music shouldn’t influence anyone negatively.
“It’s not about promoting fraud so to speak, It’s about someone who wakes up in the morning and needs to go and earn a living. It’s not negative.
“It’s positive, you just have to be in that realm to understand what the song is all about,” 9ice said recently in his defense.
We all absorb music differently. At the end of the day, the artist can only "create" the masses determine what songs "blow."— BillionaireToniPayne (@tonipayne) June 23, 2017

Music Artists like most artists, poets inclusive, draw inspiration from their environment. Singing about it doesn't mean you approve of it.— BillionaireToniPayne (@tonipayne) June 23, 2017
