During Maje Ayida's defamation lawsuit against Toke Makinwa, the celebrity fitness expert admitted to having unprotected sex with other women, while in a relationship with the popular media personality.

Ayida is demanding that Toke Makinwa's book 'On Becoming', be withdrawn from circulation after she accused him of infecting her with Sexually Transmitted Infections while they were married.

The case was brought before Hon. Justice Ogunjobi of the High Court of Lagos State on Tuesday, November 4, 2018.

The defamation proceeding between Maje and Toke also had the publishers of the book, Kachifo Limited, joined as defendants.

Maje, however, stated that all this happened when he and Toke were having problems during different stages of their relationships but denied giving her any Sexually Transmitted Infection (STI's).

In the book, which became a best seller after it was released, Toke accused Maje of adultery and infecting her with sexually transmitted diseases.
