Enugu Rangers must improve their style of play if they want to beat Egyptian club Zamalek in the CAF Champions League fixture.

Zamalek host Rangers on March 10 at the TBD Stadium in the first leg of the Round of 16 fixtures.

Rangers have been struggling in the Nigeria Professional Football League, losing 1-0 to Rivers United on Sunday.

Rangers' Media officer, Foster Chima said the players must put the loss behind them and wake up ahead of the game on Friday.

“We deserved at least a draw in that match but football luck says otherwise but we are demoralized as some days are like that in football.

“The match against Rivers United has come and gone and it is time to get back to Confederation of African Football (CAF) championship second round first leg match against Zamalek.

“We cannot continue to rue the defeat at the hands of the pride of Rivers and leave our continental assignment vulnerable,’’ he said.

Rangers eliminated JS Saoura of Algeria in the first round of the Championship.
