On Thursday, a former Governor of Lagos State and the Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Senator Bola Tinubu, marked his 66th birthday.

At the occasion, which was also the 10th Bola Tinubu Colloquium, held in Eko Hotel and Suite  the APC leader made a daunting request, like it was a birthday wish.

"Don't take their apology," he said, referring to the Peoples Democratic Party's apology offered few days ago.

"It is like catching a thief and he says, don't look at me, go and steal your own.

"They lie, they falsify, change figures and for 16 years they made fake promises, gave us fake figures and they say don't talk about it," he stated.

Tinubu believes that no matter what the opposition PDP does, "it will never return to power" come 2019.

For him, a letter written to President Muhammadu Buhari by a former President of Nigeria, Dr. Olusegun Obasanjo, was written in envy.

It is 'bad belly' letter, the former Governor of Lagos State told the gathering.
