Teleology CEO Takes 9mobile To Court
There is no gainsaying the fact the relationship between Teleology and telecom operator 9mobile has gone sour.
The two firms had been in a deal to rescue once troubled 9mobile but collapsed along the way.
Now, the Chief Executive officer of Teleology Holdings Limited, Mr Adrian Wood, says it has sued the management and board of the 9mobile.
Wood was said to have told Business Insider that he had sued the board and management of 9mobile and that the matter was pending in a Nigerian court.
“No comments from Teleology for now, upon legal advice. There is litigation pending on the matter,” he was quoted as saying when asked about his exit and the allegations made by the board of directors.
It was reported that Wood resigned from the Board of 9mobile since Teleology Holdings was prevented from concluding a management services contract with the local joint venture, Teleology Nigeria Limited.
A statement signed by the Director, Regulatory and Corporate Affairs, 9mobile, Oluseyi Osunsedo, on behalf of the board of directors of the company earlier this month, described Wood as a minority shareholder in Teleology Nigeria Limited.
The company alleged that he had failed to meet financial obligations, attend physical meetings and build extensive network required to build the business.
