The 173- year old The Economist magazine, put a spotlight on 2 young Nigerian superstars who are taking music from the country to the rest of the world.

It features Tekno and Mr Eazi, in its 1,843 supplement.

The two rising stars are on the hills of Nigeria and Africa’s biggest pop stars at the moment,  Wizkid and Davido.

Under the feature ‘What the world is missing’, The Economist describes Tekno as ‘one of Nigeria’s most prolific pop stars’ whose ‘Rara’ single ‘follows in the fine tradition of Fela Kuti by skewering the country’s sclerotic politics’.

It also recongizes Mr Eazi correctly as a musician influenced both by Nigeria and Ghana.
