#Tajugoestoschool: Don Jazzy Donates N500,000
Who says cuteness does not pay?
Taju, a five year old boy, leaves in a remote part of Ibadan, until a few days ago, he was not sure if he would ever go to school.
After fast rising comic actress, Funmi Awelewa, made a video of the boy trying to speak, it went viral.
He has received donations from Nollywood stars, Sotayo Sobayo, Adeniyi Johnson, Kehinde Bankole and Bimbo Thomas.
There are also donations from rapper/actor, Falz, entertainment entrepreneur and owner of Ebonylife TV, Mo Abudu and comedian Ay Makun.
Don Jazzy joined this new cause by pledging 500,000Naira towards sending Taju to school.
AY Makun confirmed Don Jazzy's support towards Taju's schooling on Instagram, while Funmi had confirmed that she had found the boy, so that she could send the proceeds to his family.
@donjazzy just reached out to me with 500k waiting for little Taju to go to school. We are still waiting to get proper information concerning meeting with him and his parents in Ibadan. Many thanks to @sotayogaga @funmiawelewa @adeniyijohnson who shared the video to our notice. I am so sure with the involvement of @moabudu @falzthebahdguy @iamsmade @_kehindebankole @iambimbothomas and other well meaning Nigerians we shall make this happen to many other Tajus out there. God bless you all. #tajugoestoschool
