Suspected Boko Haram Militants Kill 15 In Cameroon
Blood and tears are what cut-throat Islamic terrorists - Boko Haram leave behind in another community.
The terrorist group’s latest attack was on Friday, on a remote village in Cameroon near the Nigerian border.
They attacked the villagers bearing guns, killing 15 people and kidnapping eight others in an overnight raid.
According to some local council officials who spoke to Reuters, the attackers also burned down around 30 houses in Gakara village, just outside the town of Kolofata, which has been a frequent target of suicide bombings.
A government source, who visited the community, was quoted to have confirmed that 15 people had been killed, all shot dead except one who was burned alive, while another 30 had suffered bullet wounds.
The mayor of Kolofata and a senior military source confirmed that an attack had taken place but did not know the death toll.
This is the latest of their attacks in the over eight-year old war that the Islamic terrorists have been waging on northern Nigerian in order to create a country of its own.
Their relentless attacks have killed more than 20,000 people and displaced 2.7 million people within and outside the Lake Chad Basin.
