Herman Hembe appears to have been hung on the 'political gallows' as irrevocable justice has been served.

The Supreme court has ordered him to repay all the salaries and benefits earned over the last 90 days to his successor, Dorathy Mato.

Herman, who represents Vandikwa/ Konshisha constituency of Benue State at the Federal House of Representatives, also serves as Chairman, House Committee on FCT.

The court declared his former seat vacant after it ruled that Herman did not win the All Progressive Congress' primaries which was held in 2015.

The 41 year old expelled lawmaker attended Mount Saint Gabriels Secondary School Makurdi where he finished in 1992.

He also bagged a Degree from the Faculty of Law at the Benue State University. His legislative interests while he served as a lawmaker include: youth development, education, poverty alleviation and health.

His target achievement was "to be the best I can be in the interest of my constituents".

Do you remember him? He is the lawmaker that had squabbles with the former Director General of the Securities and Exchange Commission, Arunma Oteh, when she appeared before the House of Representatives years ago to answers questions about her certificate.

Mr Hembe questioned her to a point that she let go of her anger and accused the lawmakers of requesting for money from her.
