Super Eagles striker, Henry Onyekuru is set for first team action following his recovery from injury.

The Anderlecht forward was on the sideline for three months due to a knee injury he sustained in a league game in December, 2017.

His recovery process has been consistent. He could feature in Anderlecht’s Reserves 2-2 draw against Standard Liege on Monday night.

It was his second consecutive game for the reserves after playing for 30 minutes as the Anderlecht Reserves beat Lokeren 4-1 to win the Reserve League title last week.

Whether he will make the squad for Anderlecht’s next league game against Club Brugge on Sunday remains to be seen.

Before his injury, Onyekuru had scored nine goals in 19 appearances for Anderlecht in the Jupiler Pro League.
