Super Eagles midfielder Oghenekaro Etebo has resumed training with the English Championship side Stoke City after observing extra days off having featured for Nigeria at the Russia 2018 FIFA World Cup.

Etebo who moved to Britannia Stadium few days to the start of the World Cup following the expiration of his contract with Portuguese side CD Feirense is in the 24-man traveling party to Germany by the Potters.

The hardworking midfielder who had a decent outing in Russia is expected to play a key role as Stoke City plot an early return to the Premier League having dropped down to the Championship at the end of last season.

Etebo will be hoping to outshine other Nigerian players like Osaze Odemwingie and Victor Moses among others who have played for Stoke City in the past.
