Super Eagles Set To Rumble In Super Four Tournament
The home-based Super Eagles team will play in the forthcoming Super 4 tournament billed to take place in the ancient city of Kano, it has been revealed.
The Eagles who will be competing in the 2018 CHAN in Morocco, will play in the forthcoming Super 4 in Kano from December 11, which will also feature Nigerian champions Plateau United, and hosts Kano Pillars.
Organisers confirmed that NPFL runners-up MFM FC, Aiteo Cup winners Akwa United and Enyimba, who finished third in the league will be the other teams in the pre-season tournament.
The tourney will be concluded on December 17.
The invitational tournament is aimed at preparing the CHAN Eagles and the country’s representatives in both the CAF Champions League and Confederation Cup.
Rivers United won the last Super 4 in Enugu.
